The Brunico City Museum presents a personal exhibition of the artist Albert Mellauner who was born and raised at Val Badia and lives in Brunico.

The artist is one of the most important representatives of contemporary abstract art in South Tyrol. Again and again in South Tyrol one comes across church interiors and façade walls designed by Mellauner's meticulous hand and bearing his unmistakable signature. Mellauner's tool is the color, cleverly and ingeniously applied. He is able to create spaces and bodies through intense exploration and sensitive use of graduations and nuances.
