The Drei Birken Hotel

Welcome to the Renon: a holiday destination and a walking paradise for both locals and tourists. The hotel Drei Birken belongs to a chain called the "Wanderwirte Ritten": this follows different criteria to satisfy the needs of hikers. The hotel is run by the Prast family who gives it their all to making their guests' every dream come true.
In 2009 the hotel was completely refurbished. The new winter garden is something you cannot miss. On the sunny terrace, guests can drink a coffee and enjoy the view. Birch was used for most of the interior's decor. The hotel offers cosy rooms for restful nights: take on the day with renewed energy the day after exploring the Renon.
sweet dreamsTradition and cosiness are all what the Drei Birken Hotel is all about. The rooms are spacious and nearly all have a balcony. Dogs are allowed at the hotel, so you can take your best friend with you into the room. The peaceful location of the establishment and the fresh mountain air ensure for sweet dreams.
South Tyrolean foodWalk into the sunlit room and revel in the hearty breakfast laid out therein. Tuck in and prepare for your hikes. The Hotel also cooks at lunch and dinner time. South Tyrolean fare is at the order of the day, but you can also order Italian and international dishes.
sun & waterTake a pleasant walk to the Costalavara Lake, one of the cleanest lakes in Italy. It is surrounded by cool forests and, in summer, the locals flock to its shores. You can also use: cablecars, which will take you to the most interesting locations, traditional, religious and lay events, thousands of possibilities for sport such as swimming, tennis, angling, horse riding.
HIKESMr Prast, the host, carries out a guided hike twice a week with his guests. There are plenty of interesting desitnations on the sunny plateau. The Renon, with its extensive network of trails, is the ideal location for walking.
