50 Years of Bauernjugend Algund – Anniversary Celebration

Bauernjugend Algund is celebrating its 50th anniversary and invites everyone to join the festivities on May 23, 2026 at Schnalshuberhof.

The celebration begins at 10:00 a.m. with a church service at the little church of Plars, accompanied by traditional alphorn players. Afterwards, a tractor blessing will take place at Schnalshuberhof.

At 12:00 noon, the official opening of the festival starts with the traditional beer barrel tapping. Guests can also enjoy roasted suckling pig at lunchtime.

Live music by “Die 2te Chance” will provide entertainment throughout the day. At 3:00 p.m., the Bergplattlergitschn Algund will perform a traditional Schuhplattler dance show.
