Bozner Orgelsommer/Estate d´organo Bolzano

Johann Finatzer was born in Bolzano in 1973 and grew up
in Trodena. In 1995 he obtained a diploma in trombone
at the Claudio Monteverdi Conservatory in
Bolzano. He furthered his studies with internationally renowned teachers.
He is a substitute and soloist in the Haydn Orchestra of
Bolzano and Trento. Since 1993 he has conducted the music bands
of Cortina, Magrè, Trodena, Terlano, Ora, S. Paolo,
the Oltradige Brassband, the Youth Brassband of
South Tyrol and the Bolzano City Band.
He is a member of various chamber music ensembles
such as the Ensemble Windkraft, the trombone quartet
Sonoro and the brass quintet Cinquino. He is the
artistic director of the concert association Forum Musik
in Kaltern. He is a teacher of trombone and euphonium
at the music schools in Eppan and Lana since 1993.
1993. He qualified as a teacher of Pedagogy
Music Pedagogy at the University of Bolzano-Bressanone
in 2009. Johann Finatzer is also active as
