The Bachlaufen Haus, at an altitude of 1310 meters, next to a stream, is a vacation home consisting of six totally independent apartments located a few steps from the center of the town of Sesto (Bz) in the heart of the Dolomites, less than 10 minutes walk from the ski slopes of Monte Elmo (2433 m), where many slopes start. Our apartments are furnished in an alpine style and offer a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, a private bathroom with a shower and hairdryer, and a view of the Dolomites. Why choose Sesto? Because time seems to have stood still here a hundred years ago, with its Tyrolean inns, whitewashed houses, and wood instead of concrete. You will have the opportunity to live in an "enchanted" village, ideal for anyone who wants to spend a few days in the fresh air, in contact with nature, surrounded by the most beautiful attractions that the Dolomites can offer such as the Fiscalina Valley, the Croda Rossa and the Tre Cime di Lavaredo (World Heritage Site). Summer/winter/autumn/spring, the most amazing thing about the Dolomites is the change of the surrounding landscape depending on the season. The romantic winter when everything around is tinged with white and the Christmas lights come on. This is the season of skiing, snowboarding, sledding, frozen lakes, walks in the woods, or romantic rides pulled by horses or even huskies. The fragrant and colorful spring when the snow melts and the colors and smells of these magnificent places re-emerge bright and sparkling. Fragrant air, fresh grass, flowering meadows, grazing animals. Among the most common activities in this period are cycling, long walks, horseback riding, or climbing the enchanting peaks of the Dolomites. Then comes the sunny summer when, far from the city's sultriness, the temperatures in Sesto are ideal, warm during the day and cool at night, which will help you rest. After hours of relaxing sleep, in the morning you will wake up full of energy, ready to enjoy all the activities that can be done in this season: walking, climbing, cycling and especially swimming in the lakes or rivers, surrounded by forests. Finally, there is the suggestive autumn, during which red and yellow colors dominate, creating a truly enchanting landscape. This is the season that precedes winter and is famous for its picturesque Christmas markets when every valley is dressed up and the main squares with lights, songs, cheerfulness, and good food, will make you feel the true spirit of these places.
