Our house is located on the south side of the hill in a quiet and sunny location with a unique view on the Dolomites of Sesto – „ Sextner Sonnenuhr, Gsell and Haunold“. The centre of the village with its shops, the bank, post office and the bus stops is 5 minutes walking distance away. The mountain cabs to reach the top of the Monte Elmo are 1km away, while the ones taking you on the Croda Rossa are 3km away. Our house is in summer an ideal base for all hikers, walkers or mountain bikers, as there are many paths and tracks starting here. In winter you can choose between skiing and cross country on the well groomed slopes. Kids as well as adults will have fun on the 5km long sledge track or on an unforgettable trip on a sleigh drawn by horses. Or what about a romantic walk through snow white forests? There are cultural and sport events taking place in Sesto all year long, i.e. marathons, concerts, traditional parades and many more. The welll kept and large play grounds are a favourite among children. As you can see there are plenty of activities you can enjoy throughout your stay in Sesto Pusteria.
