Amidst vineyards, near the wine village of Kaltern, our accommodation "Pia's Bleibe" is located in the small fraction called "Oberplanitzing". In less than 10 minutes you can reach the center of Kaltern. There you can find possibilities to eat, drink and spend cozy evenings. From the center you can reach Lake Kaltern, which invites you to swim, surf and enjoy. For hiking enthusiasts, the forest with its beautiful hiking and walking trails is not far away; you can reach the Passo Mendola in 25 minutes by car or with the Mendola funicular. In 10 minutes on foot you can visit the special natural phenomenon of the ice holes. The village center of Kaltern can be reached by the city bus.
