Rifugio Fermeda

The Rifugio Fermeda is situated in the heart of the mountains on the Alpe di Seceda above Santa Cristina in the Val Gardena. Here guests will find excellent service and friendly hospitality, outstanding cuisine as well as breathtaking scenery.
The rifugio is an ideal starting point for alpine-climbing expeditions to the Torri Fermeda and the Odle mountain range, as well as marvellous hikes in unforgettable, unique landscapes. From Santa Cristina there are also numerous mountain bike routes which take cyclists to high altitudes and offer them rapid descents down into the valley. When the weather turns cold winter sports lovers will be delighted by the sight of a warm Stube. The Rifugio Fermeda’s excellent restaurant will ensure you have a delicious lunch during your activity-packed day.
Our guests will enjoy a refreshing drink or sample our blend of traditional and Italian cuisine on the sunny terrace or in the Stube. At 2,109 m above sea level, we pride ourselves on serving exquisite pizzas baked in our very own wood oven! The rifugio also provides lovely accommodation. Our comfortable and stylish chalet rooms offer plenty of space for relaxation and a great night’s sleep. You can choose between bed-&-breakfast or half-board accommodation. A functions room is also available if you wish to celebrate a birthday or other event. The management of the rifugio will only be too happy to help you plan it.
Guests with large suitcases can arrange to be picked up at the station at Col Raiser (upon prior booking). A warm welcome to the natural paradise of the Seceda!
