Rifugio Oltradige

The Rifugio Oltradige al Roen is located at 1,775 m on the Mendola Ridge – a rustic and charming mountain hut with breathtaking views over the Adige Valley all the way to the Dolomites. For more than 110 years it has welcomed hikers, bikers, and nature lovers; today Martina and Andrea carry on its tradition with passion.

The hut offers about 15 beds, split between a large shared dormitory and a small bunk room. It is the perfect place for a memorable night surrounded by silence, fresh mountain air, and a starry sky: waking up at sunrise among the peaks is unforgettable, with the option of tackling the via ferrata. Whether as a stage on a long-distance trek or a peaceful retreat, the hut is equally inviting.

The rifugio is easily accessible on foot or by mountain bike from Termeno, Mendola Pass, or Altenburg/Castelvecchio. Enjoy dinner in the cozy alpine atmosphere and take in the views over the Oltradige – simple sleep, great experiences.
