Villa Iolanda's unique position overlooking the promenades and the Roman Bridge, with different and unmissable views of one of the city's most evocative sights, make it a unique and unforgettable place. Thus was born a unispecial place, a cosy dwelling for those who love comfort but seek and appreciate the antique. It was built in 1872 to a design by architect Karl Moeser. Thanks to its very special local and late Renaissance architectural style, it was included in the list of protected historical buildings of the Province of Bolzano. In the course of its 140 years, it first housed a shoe shop and later, in the 1930s, it was purchased by the Magnoler family, who made it their home for almost a century with an adjoining business in the premises overlooking the promenade.
