Professor Manfred Spitzer is a German psychiatrist, neuroscientist and author. As a long-standing professor of psychiatry, he has become known to a wide audience for his accessible yet well-founded explanations of brain research. In his books and lectures, he combines scientific findings with current social issues. In his latest work, he turns his attention to the potential effects of microplastics on the human brain and discusses their significance at the intersection of the environment, health and lifestyle.
