Autumn on the Plose Mountain

A wonderful colour play awaits us in the autumn in Brixen. When the trees and meadows change colour and the sunrays put an unbelievably beautiful light on the landscape, a trip to the mountains is a must.
We hike across the Plose and enjoy fantastic views of the Geisler peaks, which are part of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Dolomites. On our way we stop at the Halslhütte below the Peitlerkofel mountain. Host Martin welcomes us with a welcome drink and serves us regional specialities. We enjoy the peace and beauty of the mountain autumn before hiking back down to the valley.
