Bavarian State Youth Orchestra

The young musicians (aged 13 to early 20s) of the Bavarian State Youth Orchestra meet three times a year during the school vacations and are led by prudent and understanding people. Internationally renowned conductors such as Jonathan Nott, Daniel Harding and Péter Eötvös also contribute to the attractiveness of this young ensemble. In Brixen, the orchestra will play Prelude, Chorale and Fugue by Ottorino Respighi, The Frescoes of Piero della Francesca by Bohuslav Martinů, the Tannhäuser Prelude by Richard Wagner and Death and Transfiguration by Richard Strauss under the direction of Nicolas Rauss.
