About the event

A seminar on How language quietly shapes the world—and how digital technologies can help us make sense of it

The seminar explores how digital methods allow us to analyse texts—from news articles to social media posts—to reveal the linguistic choices that shape public opinion. Using case studies on migration, memory, and national identity, participants will discover how certain words and storylines quietly influence how societies think and feel.
