Film screening Harald Kastlunger – Artist Portraits
|
About the event
Images capture emotions, events, and people. They tell stories of the past and bring them back to life.
Trained as a confectioner, Harald Kastlunger developed a distinctive visual language from the 1960s onwards, combining drawing, painting, and sculpture in a unique interplay between abstraction and figuration.
In occasion of the exhibition at the Hofburg, which offers a compact overview of his diverse oeuvre, Günther Haller presents impressive film portraits. The focus lies on Kastlunger’s artistic drive, his creative development, and his remarkable use of colour.
The films are screened in German or without dialogue.
