Foto Forum Festival - Spaces in Transformation

As part of the exhibition Spaces in Transformation – Salzburg / South Tyrol, hosted by the Südtiroler Kulturinstitut, a public talk brings together photographer Kurt Kaindl and Sabine Gamper, moderated by Nicole Abler.



The starting point is Kaindl's photographic exploration of the Alpine space, in which transformations of landscape, labour and ways of life are inscribed. Photography emerges not merely as a tool of documentation, but as a medium capable of shaping and making change legible.



In dialogue, works created in South Tyrol and Salzburg are brought into relation and reflected upon as visual condensations of experience and social transformation.
