Gaul Open Air Festival 2026

Are you ready to experience two unforgettable days filled with music, fun, and community spirit in the breathtaking setting of the Gaul Gorge in Lana? Then make sure to mark May 29 and 30, 2026, in your calendar, because Open Air Gaul is back and once again promises a truly unique experience for all music lovers!

Located just a few minutes from Lana, the Gaul Gorge is a popular excursion destination known for its rugged cliffs, rushing stream, and ice-skating rink. Every year at the end of May, this extraordinary natural setting transforms into a vibrant open-air festival venue. Heavy riffs, loud sounds, and flying hair create an electrifying atmosphere full of energy and excitement.

Both on and off the stage, visitors can enjoy a diverse program featuring music, entertainment, and plenty of festival vibes.

For years, Open Air Gaul has been one of the first festivals to kick off the festival season in South Tyrol. For the past 30 years, it has been a permanent fixture of the local festival scene, enriching the cultural summer of the Burgraviato region.

The festival is organized by a dedicated and tireless team of volunteers together with the youth center Jux Lana. The net proceeds are directly reinvested into supporting and organizing concerts and cultural events at the Jux youth center.
