Guided Hiking Tour: in peak of Popi at Deutschnonsberg

Summit Experience: "Popi" on the Deutschnonsberg Wednesday

The hike begins at the Hofmahdjoch parking area on the Deutschnonsberg. Our route first leads up toward the "Pra del Signor" (Herrenwiesen) meadows, then continues almost level toward the south until "Preda del Gal." There, trail no. 3 branches off and ascends gently toward the Brezer Alm. The path continues to climb until we reach our destination: the "Stoanmandl Popi" at 1,941 m. We are rewarded for our effort with a magnificent panoramic view of the Sarntal Alps, the Dolomites, the Lagorai, the Lake Garda mountains, the Brenta, Presanella, and the southern foothills of the Ortler group. After a break, a forest path leads down to the Laureiner Alm, where refreshments are available. We then return via the forest road to our starting point at Hofmahdjoch.
