Hike to the Marblsee and Wildensee lakes in Vals

South Tyrol is renowned worldwide for its majestic mountains, clear Alpine lakes and idyllic walking itineraries. From the meeting point, we will drive together to the starting point of our excursion, located by the Fane Alm car park (1,700 metres). Following the path to Aschila, we will reach the Marblsee lake (2,250 metres) and then the Wildensee lake (2,532 metres), which at 46 metres is South Tyrol’s deepest Alpine lake. The return route will take us through the Labiseben Alm pasture and the Valler Schramme gorge back to Fane Alm. Refreshment points: Fane Alm huts, Labiseben Alm hut. Total walking time: approx. 5 hours, covering a distance of 15 km and 850 metres of elevation gain.
