In the footsteps of the ministrels: Guided hike

We start with our hiking guide Helmuth in Lajen, where you hike along the Walther von der Vogelweide circular trail to Albions. On the way there are the first stations about the history of the German minnesinger. Arrived in Albions you continue to the Ansitz Luesenegg. This estate is particularly famous because it is home to the largest sweet chestnut tree in Europe. After a short walk you return to Albions where you rejoin the Vogelweider circular route. This leads you further to Ried. Before you arrive in Ried you will make a short detour to the birthplace of Walther von der Vogelweide. Afterwards one of the many "Törggelehöfe" invites you for a meal. After refreshment, you will return to Lajen along the Vogelweider circular route.
