About the event
The Olympic spirit is in the air!
On Sunday, 1 February at 3:30 pm, the inauguration of the plaque dedicated to Olympic and Paralympic medallists will take place at the beginning of the Ski Champion Walk (behind the Ski School) in Selva Val Gardena.
The plaque will immortalise in bronze the two Olympic medallists from Selva Val Gardena: Nadia Delago, bronze medallist in alpine skiing (downhill) at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, and Florian Planker, bronze medallist in Para Alpine Skiing (Super-G LW2) at the Salt Lake City 2002 Winter Paralympics.
With this plaque, the extraordinary sporting achievements of these two local athletes are honoured. Through their commitment and success, they have inspired enthusiasm far beyond the borders of our valley.
The local community and all guests are warmly invited to attend the ceremony and celebrate together the achievements of our athletes.
