LANA | MUSIC | FESTIVAL 2026 - sOTTO VOCI

In collaboration with the Südtirol Festival Merano, a concert will take place on September 4 at 8:30 pm at the parish church of Lana, featuring the Finnish string quartet Meta4 and the internationally acclaimed vocal ensemble Theatre of Voices.

Founded in 2001, Meta4 is one of Finland’s most successful string quartets on the international stage. The ensemble has won major competitions dedicated to Shostakovich and Haydn and has been awarded by the Finnish Ministry of Culture. Meta4 performs regularly in leading concert halls worldwide and is renowned for its refined interpretations and award-winning recordings, with a repertoire ranging from Haydn to Sibelius.

Theatre of Voices, founded in 1990 by Paul Hillier, is one of the world’s leading vocal ensembles. With numerous accolades, including a Grammy Award, it is celebrated for the versatility of its repertoire, spanning from early music to contemporary works, and for its collaborations with prominent international composers. The ensemble regularly appears at major festivals and prestigious venues around the world.
