For the cultural festival LanaLive, the municipality of Lana and its surroundings become objects of inquiry. The festival explores the region through artistic and cultural means to better understand it—and to reconsider, through it, the world itself.

The 2026 edition turns its gaze toward the invisible, yet pervasive, element: emotions. LanaLive asks: What—and how—does Lana and its surroundings feel? How do emotions manifest in a place’s collective memory, its architecture, its narratives, and its everyday gestures? Which emotions are publicly expressed—and which remain unspoken, hidden, private?

LanaLive 2026 investigates these questions through music, visual arts, performances, lectures, and workshops—on both intimate and expansive scales.

How do global emotional states influence life in Lana? Which emotions define the social climate of a region oscillating between tradition and change, between closeness and distance? And to what extent can art itself be a medium that not only expresses, but also generates, shares, and transforms emotions?
