About the event

Explore the fascinating geology of Jochgrimm on a guided hike. Perfect for nature enthusiasts and explorers.
This hike focuses on plants, flowers, animals and geology. The guide aims to draw attention to the small treasures along the trail, helping participants appreciate the beauty and value of nature. Only what we know can we recognize, appreciate and protect.



Nature is an interconnected system and the result of many interacting factors. It is beautiful and fascinating, but also complex and fragile. Therefore, the hike follows the motto: “Experience nature, understand it and preserve it.”



We will take the public bus from Deutschnofen | Nova Ponente (Gibitz Square) to Jochgrimm Pass | Passo Oclini, located between Weißhorn | Corno Bianco and Schwarzhorn | Corno Nero. From there our panoramic hike begins, leading towards Neuhütt hut and Petersberger Leger hut to Maria Weißenstein | Pietralba, with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains such as Latemar and Rosengarten | Catinaccio.

From Maria Weißenstein we return to Deutschnofen | Nova Ponente by bus. Those who wish can alternatively continue on foot back to Deutschnofen | Nova Ponente.
