In addition to its breathtaking Dolomite scenery the idyllic Vilnöss/Funes valley, birth place of the world-famous mountaineer Reinhold Messner, also features prominently among events showcasing South Tyrol's much sought-after gastronomic specialty, Speck.Attractions at previous years' “Speck-Fest” included the longest Speck table measuring 533 metres.
