About the event
Summer Classics: Classic concert with "QuinTirol" in the Culture House in Seis am Schlern.
QuinTirol is the collaboration of five passionate musicians from North, South, and East Tyrol.
Five individuals with different personalities and musical backgrounds come together, enriching their music with a variety of inspirations and ideas.
Having studied at music universities and conservatories in Bolzano, Trento, Innsbruck, Vienna, Munich, Trossingen, Paris, and London, the five wind players have performed and continue to perform in renowned orchestras such as the Tyrolean Symphony Orchestra Innsbruck, the Haydn Orchestra Bolzano-Trento, the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra, the Jeunesses Musicales World Youth Orchestra, the Munich and Vienna Chamber Orchestras, the Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, and many more.
In 2017, they decided to form a classical woodwind quintet. With its extensive repertoire, this ensemble can be seen as the wind counterpart to the string quartet.
Just like their instruments – flute, oboe, clarinet, horn, and bassoon – the pieces performed by QuinTirol are diverse and multifaceted. They present refined and virtuosic classical music, warm and expressive romantic works, as well as fresh and innovative modern compositions – all brought to life with nothing but air!
These five unique musical personalities engage in a dynamic interplay, sometimes leading, sometimes responding, but always playing together as an "ensemble." Get ready for an exciting and entertaining concert evening!
