About the event

The hike takes us to the Frozen Lakes, idyllically set in the forest of the Scaleres Valley.
This challenging hike leads to two alpine lakes in the Schalderer Tal valley, ideal for a refreshing dip and picnic. After a short rest, we hike to the Lorenzischarte, which separates the Schalderer Tal from the extensive pastures of the Kühbergalm. In the middle of the Sarntal Alps, a postcard view opens up of the surrounding mountains and the Dolomite massifs opposite.
