About the event

Art and Culture within ancient sacred walls
On Wednesdays and Fridays from 4-6 p.m., the historic Kommende Lengmoos opens its doors for visits (without a guided tour). last entry: 5.30 p.m.

Already in Roman times, the road crossed the Ritten from south to north. Since the Isarco Valley was impassable until the late Middle Ages, emperors and kings also traveled across the Renon plateau along the “Emperor’s Road” to reach Rome for their coronation.



Since 1989, the Kuratorium Kommende Lengmoos has been organizing concerts, exhibitions, symposia, and lectures in the historic rooms from May to October. Every year, open-air theatrical performances by the group called Rittner Sommerspiele take place in the inner courtyard
