Col Raiser – Ortisei

Departure at 9 am by hiking bus from Steinegg to St. Christina in Val Gardena. Our hike begins at the top station of the Col Raiser-Seceda cable car at 2,107 m. Here, we walk past the Odles Hut along a well-maintained path that winds in a wide arc, almost flat, across the beautiful mountain pastures of the Cisles, as they are known in Ladin. We continue on a moderate incline to the Cucasattel, from there downhill to Heiligensee (Lec Sant) and on to the Gamsbluthütte. After lunch, we continue downhill along the scenic path to Dunei, St. Jakob and St. Ulrich.

Walking time 4 hrs + 40 mins – Ascent 161 m – Descent 1003 m – Route length 13.3 km

-A certain level of basic fitness and sure-footedness are required

-Meeting point: various bus stops along the route

-Participation is FREE for guests staying at our member establishments in the Eggental valley and for local residents of the Eggental valley with a Locals Card

Otherwise, adults pay €10 and juniors (aged 6 to 13) €5



Guided walks will be cancelled in the event of bad weather. The programme is also subject to change at short notice.
