From the Plose tu the hut Halslhütte

Departure at 8.45 am on the hiking bus from Steinegg|Collepietra to St Andrä|Sant'Andrea in Brixen|Bressanone. After arriving at the Plosebahn, the cable car takes us up to Kreuztal at 2,000 metres. Our hike to the hut Halslhütte begins here. The route starts on level ground across the alpine meadows towards the hut Rossalm, with a constant view of the mountains "Aferer Geisler" and "Peitlerkofel". Descending through a Swiss pine forest, we reach the Gampen meadows and, via a wooden footbridge, finally the hut Halslhütte, where we enjoy our lunch break on the sun terrace beneath the "Peitlerkofel". We continue for half an hour on a gentle descent along a narrow forest path towards Afers|Eores, where the hiking bus awaits us.

Sure-footedness required



Walking time 4.5 hours – Ascent 270 m – Descent 800 m – Route length 15 km

-A certain level of basic fitness and sure-footedness are required

-Meeting point: various bus stops along the route

-Participation is FREE for guests staying at our member establishments in the Eggental valley and for local residents of the Eggental valley with a Locals Card

Otherwise, adults pay €10 and juniors (aged 6 to 13) €5



Guided walks will be cancelled in the event of bad weather. The programme is also subject to change at short notice.
