The "Sunnseitnweg" Trail of Villnöss|Funes

Departure at 9 am by hiking bus from Steinegg|Collepietra to St. Magdalena|St. Magdalena in the Villnöss|Funes Valley.

The hike along the beautifully laid-out "Sunnseitnweg" on the sunny slope of the Villnöss|Funes Valley offers constant views of the uniquely beautiful Dolomite panorama of the peaks of the Geißler|Odle.

The "Sunnseitnweg" leads up and down, past St. Magdalena Church, to St. Jakob Church in St. Peter. Lunch break at the "Viel Nois" restaurant and descent to St. Magdalena.

Return journey by hiking bus to Steinegg|Collepietra.

Depending on weather conditions, the hike may be shortened!



Walking time 4 hrs – Ascent 350 m – Descent 620 m – Route length 12 km





Important information:

-A certain level of basic fitness and sure-footedness are required

-Registration: Required by Tuesday, 4.00 pm at the latest, by telephone on +39 0471 619560 or by email at info@sternendorf.it.

-Meeting point: various bus stops along the route

-Participation is FREE for guests staying at our member establishments in the Eggental valley and for local residents of the Eggental valley with a Locals Card

Otherwise, adults pay €10 and juniors (aged 6 to 13) €5



Guided walks will be cancelled in the event of bad weather. The programme is also subject to change at short notice.
