Jora Mountain Dining
About Jora Mountain Dining
There is nothing better than enjoying a meal in the mountains after an eventful hike in the Sesto Dolomites, with homemade pasta on your fork and the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Three Peaks" in the background.
The use of the highest quality products is a fundamental part of the Jora Mountain Dining restaurant. Chef Markus works very closely with local breeders and farmers to offer seasonal cuisine that respects nature and the environment - a combination that reflects itself in his menus.
This results in simple but exceptional dishes that you should not miss during your stay in Alta Pusteria. Each of the specialities is always prepared fresh and with a lot of heart for the upscale South Tyrolean Alpine cuisine.
The Jora Mountain Dining restaurant is known for its family atmosphere. The Jora Hut is a cosy wooden refuge in the middle of the Haunold family ski area in the Sesto Dolomites, which is both traditional and yet modern.
Rustic wooden benches and tables are lined up around the traditional parlour stove. The bright, open terrace offers a fantastic view of the mountains, forests and meadows of Alta Pusteria.
The Jora hut can be reached in summer and winter in a short hike from San Candido. It is best to park at the valley station of the Haunold chairlift.
