Kuttnhütte

Kuttnhütte is one of the small refuges of the wonderful Fane Alm, a characteristic village that rises above Vals. Beautifully located, it is easily accessible from the top parking lot even for non-Alpinists and puts the crown on this unique ambience. On the sun terrace, Theresa and Judith will serve you homemade hut dishes, a variety of dumplings and the legendary "Kaiserschmarren" from the farm's own milk and home-made jam. Even the cheese is still made here according to old, traditional recipes and entirely by hand in the attached cheese dairy.

Authentic, rustic you will find an idyllic world that captivates you with its dreamlike simplicity, a dreamlike place to relax and a guarantor for an alpine pasture experience of a very special kind. Open from mid-May to beginning of November, the Kuttnhütte is also the starting point for the onward route in the direction of the alpine hut Brixner Hütte and offers impressive views into the gorge of the Valser Valley or invites summit aspirants after a hike on the mountains Wilde Kreuzspitze or the Wurmaulspitze only well-deserved stop after an eventful hiking experience in the mountains of Fundres.
