About Piazzetta - Restaurant - Hotel Altes Rathaus
Large glass panes open the view over the small and romantic “piazzetta” or village square from which the restaurant takes its name. The intimate and elegant restaurant Piazzetta is arranged with stylish upholstery, natural colours and high quality wood panelling, alternating with the nostalgic look which emanates from large historic photographies from Egna.
Our guests can enjoy sophisticated dishes belonging to the Italian and alpine kitchen. Approximately 35 exclusive seats in the inner area as well as some small tables and chairs outdoors on the square in front of the dining room provide a singular ambience during a business lunch or a romantic dinner at the restaurant Piazzetta. The Mediterranean cuisine is one of the most delicious in the world; we please you with fresh and tasty fish dishes, with home made pasta creations and other culinary delights, while those who love traditional South Tyrolean recipes can enjoy regional dishes prepared with fresh and local products selected according to the season by the chef. A place of honour is reserved for the Pinot Noir or “Blauburgunder”, a typical and popular wine in the South Tyrolean Unterland.
