Vallongia Hütte

The Vallongia hut is located at 2,000 metres above sea level at Selva di Val Gardena, amongst sunny fields and woods. Under the towering Sassolungo, the view stretches over the peaks of the Gruppo del Sella. The Mussner family welcomes guests in summer and winter in the cosy hut and offers fun and hospitality. In winter the Vallongia hut is directly above the ski slope. Winter-sports lovers can warm up in the Alto Adige style in the living room, fill up with delicacies and rest on the sun-drenched terrace. Even the loved Sella Ronda route passes in front of the Vallongia hut. The hut is loved for its sun-filled location in the Val Gardena. Easily accessible with different trips and located in lush green fields. A sunny garden and a playground make hours of fun for adults and children. Relax peacefully for hours in the sun on a beach chair on the lake shore.
Taste exquisite Alto Adige meat and pasta dishes in the hut along with homemade dishes. In summer, guests can fish trout from the lake which can be then prepared, grilled and served back at the hut. At the Vallongia hut, guests can shop from 9-12 in the morning. Ice cold beer and exquisite white wurstel are available. The hut is even sometimes called the “White Wurstel hut”!
