Church of St. Anna

Coming from both directions of the freeway Meran - Bozen (MEBO), take the exit of Meran Süd/Merano Sud and follow directions towards Meran first, to then turn right towards Hafling/Avelengo and Vöran/Verano. The little church is places in Aschl/Eschio, directly near the main road to Mölten/Meltina.


With the bus until the bus stop "Förstler":

From the parking place above "Grüner Baum" and Restaurant das Stübele you can reach the small church via the "Familien-Besinnungsweg" (approx. 30 minutes walk).

The Church of St. Anna in Aschl/Eschio, near Vöran/Verano, is a Romanesque Revival building that was dedicated on July 26th, 1905: St. Anne's Day.

A merchant, who hailed from Mölten and had found prosperity in Bolzano, founded the church. The curate of Vöran, Anton Locher, helped with the construction financially, buying a forest and a meadow for the small house of worship.
