Huber Weiher pond
The Huber Weiher is an artificial pond that was created for irrigation and goat breeding. The pond is used for private fishing, but guests can also purchase a day ticket here to catch their own fish.
You can fish from April to October.
The day ticket (price €22.00) can be purchased at the Völser Weiher car park or Restaurant Pizzeria Alpin Roof; a fishing licence is not required for the Huber Weiher.
Approach
Driving from Völs am Schlern in the direction of Seis am Schlern, already after one kilometer there is St. Anton and there you have to turn right at the crossing up with signs "Völser Weiher". Then drive to the end of the road where the parking lot is located on the left side.
Parking
The car can be parked in the public car park at Völser Weiher.
Public transportation
The Völser Weiher lake is easily accessible via the following public transportation: By bus line 170 from Kastelruth and Seis am Schlern to Völs am Schlern. From there, a hike of about 30 minutes to the Völser Weiher lake is required.
From June to October, shuttle bus no. 13 takes you from Völs am Schlern directly to the parking lot at the Völser Weiher Lake.
