Lake Selvaggio - Wilder See

mountain lake located between the Fundres mountains in the Pusteria Valley.
Lake Selvaggio is one of the deepest mountain lakes in Alto Adige. Situated in a huge bottleneck on the southern slopes of the Picco della Croce, which dominates the lake, Lake Selvaggio is totally enclosed. Legend has it that men were cursed and their cries can still be heard. This is a popular destination for hikes as well as the famous Fundres High Route.
