Museum Deutschnofen/Nova Ponente

When it was first built, this castle-like estate was a tower house. The room, which now houses the museum, was the lower part of a fortress. This tower was built in Romanesque style and dates back to the 13th century.

Approach
Take highway's exit “Bolzano Nord/Eggental”, turn right direction Bolzano/Bozen, after about 0,5 km on roundabout keep left and head towards Val d’Ega (SS 241). Keep driving up to Ponte Nova. At Ponte Nova’s crossroads, turn to the right and continue to Nova Ponente (about 25 min. from highway toll booth).
