The viewpoint at the mountain station of the Mendel cable car, offers a breathtaking view on Kaltern and the Dolomiti mountain peaks of Rosengarten/Catinaccio and Latemar.
Approach
By car: starting from Kaltern follow the Mendel road until reaching the Mendel pass. The viewpoint is right next to the mountain station of the cable car. Driving time: about 20 min.
By foot: from St. Nikolaus/S. Nicolò take the "Telefonsteig" path towards the Mendel pass. Walking time: about 2 ½ hours.
