Parish church of St. Andreas

The holy Apostle Andreas is the parish church in Ratschingstal/Val Racines consecrated. It was first mentioned in 1326, and about 400 years later, a complex reconstruction took place in which a round choir and barrel vault were created. The form remained the same despite various renovations, and so in 2004 the 250th anniversary of the local church was solemnly celebrated.

Approach
Coming from Vipiteno, drive in the direction of Val Racines. In the village of Stanghe turn left into the Val Racines and follow the road for about 7 km to Racines di Dentro. On the right side of the road you already see the parish church of St. Andreas. Turn right into the small side street and follow this for about 50 meters.
Parking
You can park in the marked parking spaces at the side of the road. These are located about 100 meters from the parish church.
Public transportation
By bus 319 (Sterzing/Vipiteno-Ratschingstal/Val Racines) from Sterzing to the bus stop in Bichl/Colle.
