Mountain Christmas

The idyllic village of Selva is the highest village in Val Gardena. With its direct connection to the legendary ski tour 'Sellaronda', it offers 500km of perfectly prepared slopes for all ski lovers. This year, from the 2nd of December until the 8th of January, an old fashioned cable car of miniature wooden cabins can be found hanging above a magical Christmas village.

At this very original Christmas market you can taste sweet dried fruitcakes, yummy gingerbread biscuits, luscious artisan chocolates and other typical mountain delicacies. Moreover, while strolling through the charming village you can try a steaming hot mug of mulled wine and easily find the perfect Christmas gift.

Brenner Motorway (A 22) and exit at Chiusa/Val Gardena. Following the well-marked roads, you should reach Ortisei in about 20 minutes, then S. Cristina and Selva Gardena.
