With the Gitschberg-Nesselbahn cable car, climbing up to 2,017 metres is as easy as 1, 2, 3.

Enjoy the wonderful view over the Eisacktal and Pustertal valleys as you sit comfortably during the ascent, and take advantage of the extended summer operating times - from May to early November, a real treat for active holidaymakers! Additionally, from mid-July to mid-September, you can use the chairlift to reach the summit cross at a height of 2,150 metres, where you will be rewarded by a jaw-dropping 360° panorama. The Gitschberg Sun Park by the mountain terminal will delight your children with a variety of attractions, including the sun bridge, a giant slide, a human sundial and much more. And if you work up an appetite, the local huts serve scrumptious South Tyrolean dishes well worth discovering.
