About Reitstall Stubengut
The farm "Stubengut" is characterized by species-appropriate husbandry. The horses can live in a natural herd with plenty of opportunity to move around indoors and outdoors. Free access to fresh water, hay and mineral licks is always guaranteed. After haymaking, the horses are also allowed to graze on the large pastures around the farm.
The satisfaction of the animals due to the close-to-nature husbandry is also reflected in their calm, balanced character. Valentina Lintner, a qualified horse farmer, Western riding trainer C and authorized guide for trail rides, has been offering riding lessons at the Stubengut since 2021.
Children can gain their first experience with horses. Ride guided rounds, practise courses and games in the riding arena or do gymnastics on horseback with the vaulting harness. Grooming, brushing and leading the horses are also part of the program.
The correct seat, the interplay of aids and partnership-based communication with the horse are learned in the riding lessons. For safety reasons and to increase the learning effect, a maximum of three students are taught at the same time per riding session.
On request, ground work lessons, exercises on the lunge or lessons with your own horse are also available. Rides are reserved for experienced riders in small groups. They can last from one hour to one day by arrangement.
