The Schlundenstein is a huge boulder above Algund, which is provided with numerous bowls. These man-made bowl-shaped depressions served as sacrificial and cult sites in pre-christian times. In spring, the Schlundenstein is also the longing destination of boulder fans from Central and Northern Europe. While it is still cold and stormy there, you can climb routes with difficulty levels up to 8b on the warm rocks here under the Algund sun.
