On this calm and varied circuit hike, you will find out lots of useful information on bees on the information boards along the route. There is information on the origin and processing of honey and other bee products, such as beeswax, pollen and royal jelly. There is also a model of the inside of a bee hive. An educational experience for the whole family.

    Tourist Office, Villa|Vill (885m)

    Close to the Tourist Information Office in Villa (885m) the bee trail forks off eastward from Dorfstraße. Village street. Ascending along a nature trail to Locherbach brook, you reach Locherhof farm (831m). Route no. 6 leads around the corner of a forest to Schanner Bachgraben ditch and along the opposite slope to Lochmüller farm (785m). A short incline along the asphalt road leads to Lechnerhof farm (876m). The return route leads along Spisses northward to Vitrolerhof farm (929m). Using the “middle path (Mittelweg)” you can walk through the forest through Schanner Graben ditch to Astner Leite (925m). Here you have a unique view of Rodenegg Castle. Now follow Dorfstraße street to the starting point.
