Start
Cortaccia/Kurtatsch

Starting point of the hike is the car park above the church in Cortaccia/Kurtatsch. From here, we first take trail no. 12 to the point where trail 12B turns off sharply to the left. We follow trail 12B to the asphalted forest road with the marking No. 1, which we then take to the plateau of Curon/Graun (village). We can now continue along the trail into the village and either stop there for refreshments or carry on hiking straight to St. George’s Church and on to the Sitzkofel viewpoint. From here, we walk more or less on level ground heading northeast till we come to trail no. 5. At the signpost, we turn off right to the Lochweg trail. We follow this trail between rocks to the junction with trail no. 12, which leads to Cortaccia. Shortly before the village at the signpost, we return on the 12A shortcut to the car park.
