  From the hamlet of Gasse (1,370m) the walk leads left past the Kulturhaus arts and leisure center, through a mixed forest via the old Erzweg trail (signposted, Obere Erzgasse) in the direction of the valley. The route leads somewhat higher up on the slope and offers continuously beautiful views. Shortly after crossing the wooden bridge (1,395m) at Masseria you will reach the Mining Museum BergbauWelt Ridnaun Schneeberg (1,426m; museum visit, refreshments served). The return route leads over the bridge over Ridnauner Bach brook, to the orographic left side of the valley, and it continues with part of the route on asphalted paths (signposted) out of the valley. After the bridge to the orographic right side of the river bank, path no. 7A leads, with a short incline, over the mound to the small St. Magdalena Kirche church (1,318m; previously the miner’s chapel). With trail no. 7A you will soon reach the starting point of Gasse.
