  In Rio di Pusteria (777m), starting from the western part of the village area, cross the bridge over the Vallerbach brook and follow the "Stöcklvaterweg" trail no. 9A (signposted). The path leads through a developed area to the Stöcklvater chapel (812m). The following ditch follows the ascending footpath no. 10 (indications Spinga). This leads to a forest trail, before turning to the south and uphill, along another relatively easy walking path. Finally, following the paved road, continue to the meadows of Spinga on Sandeck (1,016m). Turn right on route no. 9, leading past the sports field, from where a dirt road leads to Spinga (1,101m; refreshments served). Follow then path no. 7 (indications for Rio di Pusteria). The footpath leads first through the meadows, then the forest, and continues to Strasshof inn (863m refreshments served) and Rio Pusteria.
