  The road leads from Hauptstraße main street at Vipiteno curving upwards over Flainbes and Schmudres to the ideally located Gasthaus Braunhof inn (1,349m; parking). A little above Braunhof on the right, trail no. 3 forks off from Bergstraße street (limited parking). Start on the foot path, then with on good paths, partly on forest paths, and finally on a farm path, you reach Prantneralm alpine pasture (1,787m). Return by the same route.
